I have a BS in Physics from Pacific Union College. I then went on to continue my education. I went to the University of Maryland to get a BS in Astronomy. While I was working on my first degree, I had the chance to work as a tutor and a teaching assistant. I worked with both the Physics and Math programs on those subjects as well as Astronomy. When I work with students, I like to adjust my teaching to the needs of the student. No child learns the same way. I help students better understand difficult concepts and also help them improve upon their problem solving skills. This can help them with the subject matter at hand as well as other subjects. I love to teach music and astronomy because those are where my passions lie. I find that the core of those subjects are applied math, so I also love that.When I'm not teaching others, I like to spend time reading. I also like to work on astronomy research and I enjoy gaming.I'm ready to help you better your studies. I can help you with specific coursework or we can work on your study and problem skills so that you have better success.
